A close cousin to the Old Fashioned and our spin on the classic Sazerac cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2.5oz Cask Rye Whiskey
  • Absinthe, to rinse
  • 1 Sugar Cube
  • 1/2tsp Cold Water
  • Aromatic Bitters
  • Lemon Peel

Directions

  1. Muddle sugar, water, & bitters in mixing glass
  2. Add Cask Rye Whiskey & ice
  3. Stir & strain into absinthe rinsed glass
  4. Garnish with lemon peel
